Canadian Experience Class (CEC)

Overview
Canadian Experience Class (CEC)

Since 2008, the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) has been a key immigration stream for skilled workers with Canadian work experience who wish to become permanent residents. It is ideal for temporary foreign workers and international graduates transitioning through the Express Entry system.

Why the CEC Stands Out:

  • Fast Processing: Applications through Express Entry are processed in 6 months or less.
  • No Settlement Funds Required: CEC applicants don’t need to show financial proof like other Express Entry programs.
  • More CRS Points: Canadian work experience and education significantly boost Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) scores.
  • Better Job Integration: Applicants already adapted to Canadian life and the job market have higher success rates.
